Polarized sunglasses are basically a type of lens that allows sunlight to pass through in a reduced form, reducing the directions of the rays and their luminous impact, remaining partially polarized, that is, a polarized lens allows filtering the reflection of the light, allowing a vision without reflections with a more natural color and contrast.
Our polarized sunglasses feature TAC UV400 protection.
What does TAC mean?
It is a multi-layer lens technology designed for complete elimination of light and harmful UV rays. The technology provides 100% protection against UVA, UVB and UVC rays up to 400 nanometers.
Undoubtedly, the best way to protect our eyes is to wear good quality sunglasses that have the right filters for the most harmful UV radiation and polarized filters to avoid a rather annoying type of light.
The function of our polarized lenses is to prevent glare and excessive reflections.
By neutralizing them we avoid forcing the vision, and thus, appreciate the images we receive through them with absolute clarity.
Here is an image in which you can appreciate the difference between non-polarized and polarized lenses.

¿What are the advantages of WOODA IBIZA polarized sunglass lenses?

- Reduce visual fatigue.

How do polarized lenses work?
You have probably wondered what is so special about polarized lenses and whether they provide any special protection compared to normal lenses.
Polarized lenses contain a special plastic film that absorbs reflections. The integrated polarized filter reduces these reflections, thus providing high visual comfort in all circumstances.
How to know if a pair of sunglasses is polarized or not?
In appearance they are the same as other lenses, there is nothing in their appearance to indicate that they have any special treatment, but below we will teach you a couple of tricks that will help you discover if the sunglasses are polarized or not.
- Take your WOODA goggle and place it in front of the screen of an electronic device such as a computer, cell phone or similar device
Place it in a horizontal position, as if you were wearing it, and then turn it until it is vertical.
If it is polarized, you will see how when you turn the goggle, the image that appears on the screen, depending on its color, darkens or blocks the vision through the lenses. - Another one of our little tricks would be to do the same with any other polarized sunglasses you have.
Now what you will do is put one lens in front and parallel to the other lens and rotate it so that one lens is horizontal and the other vertical. (+)
At that point you should be able to see the lens color change to a much darker shade.
